The original soundtrack album for the movie Sweet Dreams - Patsy

Cline's biopic - featured songs with Patsy's vocals married to a

newly recorded orchestral backing. This 2-CD set features a

collection of original Cline classics, but also additional music from

the era in question, as featured in the movie recorded by other

country artists (Don Gibson's version of the title song, Hank

Williams' Your Cheatin' Heart, Bill Monroe's Blue Moon Of

Kentucky, Roy Acuff's Wabash Cannonball and more) and also

contributions from the worlds of swing, rock 'n' roll, R&B, trad jazz

and the great American songbook. All of which makes for a varied,

eclectic and thoroughly entertaining compilation, evocative of the

late 1950s and early 1960s, and one of its greatest stars.
