With Avi Avital's successful debut album "Bach" at Deutsche Grammophon, 2012 began a highly productive collaboration with the Grammy-winning mandolin virtuoso from Israel. Since then he has been continuously involved with the work of J. S. Bach and further edited and performed his compositions for his instrument. For his big tour in the spring of 2019, Avi Avital has re-arranged two of Bach's best known works included as bonus material in the current tour version of his bestselling Bach album: Solo Partita # 2 and Prelude from # 1 cello suite his arrangements of the three concerts BWV 1052R, BWV 1056R and BWV 1041 and the Flute Sonata BWV 1034, this high-quality special edition also includes a DVD with the live recordings of the concert BWV 1041 and the Sonata BWV 1034.
