Milk Toast

Michael Raymond Toste. Ray, or Milk Toast to those who've known him longest, just like the vintage comic strip. According to his father, it was a coincidental naming that turned out to be spot on, with two notable exceptions: the old character's name was spelled "Milque Toast", and he wasn't harboring a slow burning and murderous rage. After a series of accidents and chance encounters Ray is inexorably propelled toward the edge of sanity. While Ray descends into violent madness, his wife Claudia, long a prisoner of her own psychosis begins to awaken back into her old self. When Ray's scheming comes to light, she knows she must be the one to stand against him. On the surface, Willow Grove, Texas seems like a sleepy and even boring little town. But scratch the surface of most small towns and you'll find a dark and seedy reality lurking beneath the peaceful façade.
