After the horrendous events at "Split Rock," Kylee's life is forever changed. She blames the only man she has ever truly loved for the tragedy that occurred there and pushes him away. The reader is taken on a journey through Rhodesia and Botswana and into South Africa where we are introduced to the Eastern Transvaal, the wonderful area known as the Garden Route and the Cape. The Serengeti Plains divulges its secrets to those whose eyes, ears and sense of smell are awakened. We are taught to look, touch and feel for nature's wonders.
